Collecting sponsorship as a volunteer fundraiser can be difficult enough. Online giving sites do a great job, but sponsor forms still have their place; cash and cheque donations currently account for a large percentage of the income raised by volunteers.

Statistics show that some charities receive more that 70% of their income by cheque, which represents a sizeable sum to good causes.
