They say that everyone has got an aptitude for something, and as the vast popularity of televised talent contests illustrates, there are plenty of folk out there just waiting to grab the opportunity to flaunt theirs to the full. Talent shows are suitable for all ages, don't need a lot of specialist equipment or a large outlay to organise, and can be held day or evening, all year round.
