Is there a comedian in your classroom or a crooner in your canteen? Maybe your vicar's a ventriloquist, or your manager does the moonwalk? You might never know until you ask!

They say that everyone has got an aptitude for something, and as the vast popularity of televised talent contests illustrates, there are plenty of folk out there just waiting to grab the opportunity to flaunt theirs to the full. Talent shows are suitable for all ages, don't need a lot of specialist equipment or a large outlay to organise, and can be held day or evening, all year round. Why not give the people you know the chance to shine and support a worthwhile fundraising cause at the same time?

Put the fun into fundraising with our how2guide for talent contests - as well as supporting your chosen cause, you might see a dazzling new side to your friends, family, or colleagues you didn't know existed…
