Birthday parties: Introduction

Turn your birthday party into a charity fundraiser, a great excuse for some wacky, fun behaviour!

Created: 21 January 2008

Coloured balloons

Instead of requesting gifts from your guests, ask them to make a donation to your chosen charity. Make a short, but passionate speech on the night and pass a collection bucket around.

You could also use your party to host a sponsored event, such as a head shave or an auction of unexpected promises!
