I’ve now worked in Fundraising for more years than I dare to remember, and I’ve loved (almost!) every minute of it. As a consultant I have helped multiple organisations – from large nationals such as Mind and Alzheimer’s Society, to smaller organisations with a turnover of less than £0.5milion and everything in between - to develop and grow their event fundraising programmes, often through engaging and empowering workshops. In recent years I have added governance and strategic reviews (both of individual campaigns as well as overall fundraising strategy) to the support I offer, and I am a massive proponent of collaboration and breaking down silos.

I’ve always been a people person and knew that I wanted to work with, and for, people. That has always been at the centre of my work, and particularly in my role as Recruitment Consultant at Peridot Partners, where I am proud to be part of the Fundraising and Marcomms Appointments team.

I am a creative at heart, graduating from Nottingham Trent University with a degree in Theatre Design and am currently undertaking an online Interior Designers course. I am always looking for ways to use my creativity within my work.

Like any (late) 20-something year old, I enjoy socialising with friends and spending quality time with my lovely family (and my parents’ Cockapoo) as much as I can.
